1. What this policy covers

SHIDO ATELIER uses browser storage that is necessary to provide features you request, plus Google Analytics 4 through Firebase Analytics when you choose to accept analytics. We do not currently use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels on this website.

“Storage” below includes cookies, local storage, session storage and IndexedDB. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Essential storage

This storage supports a service or preference you explicitly request and is not used for advertising. Blocking it in your browser can stop the corresponding feature from working.

Firebase Authentication: keeps your account session secure across pages and visits.
Cart: remembers products, quantities and an entered promotion code on this device until removed or browser storage is cleared.
Wishlist and preferences: remembers saved products, selected clothing size, audio settings and recently viewed products.
Consent choice: stores “accepted” or “rejected”, its date and policy version for six months.

3. Optional analytics

If you accept, Firebase Analytics loads Google Analytics 4 and records events such as page views, product views, cart actions, checkout starts and completed purchases. These events help us understand where shopping journeys work or fail. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses in analytics events.

_ga: distinguishes a browser for audience measurement.
_ga_<measurement-id>: maintains analytics session state.
Analytics session/acquisition: session-only browser storage used to connect consented pre-checkout activity to a purchase.

Analytics is configured with Google Signals and ad personalisation disabled. Analytics cookies are limited to 13 months and are not extended on every visit. Google may apply a shorter browser-specific lifetime.

4. Your choice

Analytics does not load before acceptance. Refusing analytics does not affect browsing, account access, cart or Shopify checkout. You can change your choice at any time; rejecting after acceptance disables further collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site.

5. Shopify checkout

Payment is completed on Shopify's hosted checkout. When you leave SHIDO ATELIER for checkout, Shopify may use storage required for checkout, fraud prevention, payment and your checkout preferences under its own privacy terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.

6. Retention and sources

We keep both acceptance and refusal choices for six months before asking again. This follows the CNIL's current general good-practice period. Google documents a two-year default for GA4 cookies; this site overrides that default with the shorter period stated above.
